I do not really take much time to finish a regular briefing note. With a little planning and good writing is a job that could end up with less than four hours of daily dedication. Of course, not always the case, and not everyone runs the same pace. There are those who are easily distractible and may take years before the idea was to return them to close a note that it was 'for yesterday'. Only when coupled
